Many us were raised with parents who needed healing in one or more area of life and, because they were supposed to be our providers, that left us with unmet needs that we’ve carried into adulthood. This manifests in seeking out those needs from others, leading to toxic relationships and patterns.
If we don’t meet our own needs, we’ll continue to seek that outside of us and continue feeling empty no matter what we do.
